When APC Overnight pick up parcels from customers who use multiple delivery companies, it is possible that they pick up parcels for another courier like DPD by mistake.
This DPD parcel ended up at the local depot from where it was then sent to the national hub. From here, it would have been moved to an internal department which deal with undelivered and unclaimed freight – item usually have UID label on them.
Before considering to sell this parcel on, APC Overnight is required by law to take reasonable step to trace the true owner of the goods. It would have reasonable for them to contact the sender March May or the intended recipient Technowash. APC did neither.
